Afternoon Music is pleased to sponsor a special concert featuring a presentation by Keys 2 Success, a transformative youth keyboard program that brings the discipline, beauty, and rigor of classical music to students in Newark.
Founded by New Providence pianist Jee-Hoon Krska, Keys 2 Success began as an effort to bring structured, daily keyboard instruction to Newark students who otherwise would not have access to such training. These young musicians have performed at New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Newark Museum of Art, and Princeton University, among their sponsored engagements.
Afternoon Music invites you to welcome these young musicians and the community who has made their journey possible.
Afternoon Music is proud to be a part of the vibrant Summit Area arts community. For more than 40 years, Afternoon Music has provided outstanding, affordable music programs. The concert series explores a wide diversity of music, showcasing classical and jazz performances. Our proximity to the New York music scene enables us to engage excellent up-and-coming musicians as well as acclaimed performers.
Afternoon Music is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, a supporting organization of Beacon Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Summit, New Jersey.
